Stress which includes things like having a busy day, not dealing with your emotions, & worrying about things outside of your control, initiates a cascade of events as your body shifts into a “fight or flight” response, activating your sympathetic nervous system.

Chronic, low-grade stress can alter your stress hormones, leaving them elevated when they should ideally taper down.

If not managed correctly, then this stress can manifest into a wide array of negative health signs such as inflammation, which in turn leads to many of the common health conditions of today.

Focus on becoming more resilient to the stress you are experiencing by addressing the stress & instilling the modalities mentioned below to help you release & lessen your stress:

Breathing: Box, 4-7-8, or diaphragmatic

Meditation: Try Calm or Headspace apps or go for a walk in nature

Exercise: Do anything that you enjoy for 30 minutes a day x 5 days per week

Magnesium Rich Foods: Add in pumpkin seeds or dark chocolate

Please give these tips a try as managing your stress is so important to keeping your health in optimal condition.
