Who doesn’t love chocolate, right?

Chocolate is not just delicious, but it has so many wonderful health promoting properties such as:

*High in anti-oxidants
*High in iron, magnesium & fiber
*May improve heart health
*May help keep you satiated longer
*May reduce blood pressure
*May help support healthy skin
*May improve cognitive function
*May improve your mood
*May reduce inflammation
*May lessen insulin resistance
*May support better gut health

With all these great properties, you will want to be sure to have chocolate included as part of your daily regime as a bar, cocoa powder or cocoa nibs.

Remember that everything is best in moderation.

1 oz of good dark chocolate is all you’ll need to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Note that it’s not just any chocolate that is good for you.

You’ll want to look for chocolate with the following properties:

*Dark chocolate with high cacao levels, target anything above 85%
*Look for raw or fermented cacao to get most nutritional impact
*High fat/fiber to sugar ratio – want least amount of added sugars
*Fewest number of ingredients (ideally cacao and sugar only)
*Look for the best quality that you can find and afford
