It’s time to get ready for Friday, June 17th, 2022:

National Eat Your Vegetables Day!

This day of celebration was created by the United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association back in 1991 as a way to help promote the wonderful bounty of seasonal produce.

Vegetables provide vital vitamins, minerals, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber & phytonutrients which are key to supporting our overall health & wellness.

It’s great to target to eat at least 30 different vegetables a week in a variety of sizes, shapes & colors.

This way we are adding in a diversity of plants that then provide you with optimal nutritional balance to support your body’s needs.

Vegetables are so versatile.

Try adding them to omelettes, salads, soups, stir fries, side dishes & main dishes.

So get out there on Friday & eat your veggies at every meal & note how great they make you feel.

Please share with me how you ate your veggies.
