Looking for a simple & delicious scallop recipe that you’ll fall in love with?

Well, look no further.

Sweet & tender sea scallops dusted with turmeric & cayenne

Earthy & meaty oven-roasted cauliflower

Floral & fruity-scented green beans

All tied together with a tangy & zesty labneh sauce.


Recipe (Serves 4)

Scallops:

  • 1 lb dry-packed sea scallops
  • 1/4 tsp dry turmeric
  • Pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

1). Season scallops

2). Heat up saute pan, add oil & let get hot but not smoking

3). Saute scallops for about 1-2 minutes per side til cooked medium

Cauliflower:

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1 tsp dry coriander
  • 1 tsp dry cumin
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

1). Pre-heat oven to 425 dF

2). Add all the ingredients to the cauliflower, & toss to mix well

3). Place onto baking pan & cook 20-30 minutes til tender and golden brown

Green Beans:

  • 1 lb green beans, de-stemmed
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 tsp za’atar spice blend
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon

1). Heat up saute pan & add oil

2). Add beans & saute for 5 minutes

3). Add garlic & za’atar

4). Cook til beans are al dente

5). Add lemon juice

Minted Labneh

1 cup labneh

12 sprigs fresh mint

1/2 tsp sumac

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

Juice 1 lemon

1). Mix all the ingredients til well blended
