When we nourish ourselves with not only the right nutrition, but also with proper lifestyle habits, we allow our bodies to rest and heal so that it does what it naturally wants to do.

Build muscle, flush out waste, set memories, support your immune system, etc.

The end result is that we feel energizedengaged, and ready to take on the day.

If we do the opposite and don’t treat our bodies with what it’s asking for, then we tend to wither and feel sluggish, and foggy, and don’t want to engage with life as we once did.

Food itself isn’t just about keeping us satiated, but it’s broken down into key information for our bodies to run all of the cellular processes that happen each and every second of the day.

On the macro level, you are eating proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, and water.

On the micro level, the macro nutrients are further broken down into vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and phytonutrients.

These micronutrients are what allow us to function and perform at our peak.

It’s when the micronutrients are off balance due to eating an unbalanced diet, plus living a high-stress life, that we become off kilter and tend to feel like crap.

The good news is that you can do something about fixing this and get your life back on track and learn how to re-engage with life again and enjoy life to its fullest potential.

Your strategy to thrive is simple:

  • Eat a balanced nutrient-dense whole foods-based diet with lots of diversity each day
  • Drink 1/2 your body weight in fl oz of filtered water each day
  • Exercise at least 20-30 minutes 3-5x per week
  • Get up and move every 30 minutes
  • Practice stress reduction techniques like yoga or meditation
  • Focus on proper sleep hygiene (ie get 7-9 hours of quality sleep)
  • Be connected with friends, family members, and co-workers

Once you can shift your mindset and focus on these strategies, you’ll start to see a difference in no time.
