Here’s my top list of seeds & their benefits:

1). Flax seeds: High in omega-3 alpha lipoic acid (ALA) & soluble/insoluble fiber.  Both have been found to support lowering oxidative stress, which in turn lessens inflammation

2). Chia seeds: High in ALA, protein & soluble/insoluble fiber. Its fiber acts as both a pre & probiotic to support gut health, which in turn produces serotonin, which helps with your mood & focus

3). Hemp seeds: Highest in protein & contain an optimal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acids at 2:1, which has been denoted to prevent inflammation, which in turn supports your cognition

4). Sunflower seeds: High in vitamin E, selenium & choline, which help regulate acetylcholine a key neurotransmitter to support optimal brain health & memory

5). Pumpkin seeds: An excellent source of magnesium, zinc, copper & iron, all of which are important minerals for brain health.

Poppy seeds, sesame seeds, & pine nuts are three other great seeds to add to your dietary regime too.
